Hi all  taking into account our fluctuating weather (nothing new there lol), am I too early to hang my tom baskets out being in the NW?
Considering they're seeds from a cherry tomato, they're the strongest tom plants I've ever had. It'll be interesting to see if they actually fruit!

My outside toms look to be doing fine, the rain certainly seems to have heped them shoot up!
Make sure that you harden them off though before just launching them out!

Yes, as the previous poster said, as long as they are hardened off they will be ok.  I had my hanging basket toms out for about two weeks now and they are looking very healthy.  Also have some potted toms in the back garden and a bed of toms at the allotment and all look ok too.  Even getting some green tomatoes now, can't wait for them to turn red!

Mine have been out a few weeks now and doing well but i'm in brum. I have green toms cant wait to munch the first red one!  .

Thanks for the quick replies peeps, they've grown up in my mini greenhouse & spent a lot of time with them totally exposed on the shelves & no cover over the front, so I think they'll be ok from what you all say, cheers!
