« on: June 09, 2010, 13:33 »
Hi all,I bought some auricula seed when we visited Malvern show this year,Iwas told to put them in the fridge for a while to make them think that they had been through  a winter. This I've done ,does anyone know any other tips before I sow.Cheers

All I can say is that, in the past, I have sown primula seeds on top of compost in a seed tray, then watered it and covered with another seed tray and left it over winter so the frost can stratify the seed. I ckecked it for water occasionally, but it was ok. I had some lovely seedlings appear in the spring. If I were you, having put the seeds in the fridge, sow them on top of compost, cover with a seed tray and put them in the shade to keep cool and check for watering.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
