This is just a thought  :ohmy:  Could it be anything to do with the water they are cooked in our water is very hard and my bean water is always red.  Or is it what the water companies add.  Anyone remember Quatermass? :(

Try cooking some in bottled water ... then you will find out if it is your water supply  :)
