Dog pee scorched grass!!

I have a lawn that resembles camouflage and I have tried tomato sauce and running out with the watering can but as I have an Irish Wolfhound - large dog = large pees, I have decided its a case of love my dog, forget about the lawn!   
I did fence off part of the garden to try and keep some of the lawn looking better and in her puppy days to prevent her from digging large holes everywhere, but you know how it is.... the best laid plans.
