Hope they put on a huge effort in the next couple of weeks, I've been looking forward to them...

I have pea plants - SMALL pea plants, with no flowers yet. In desperation I have pushed a whole load more peas in the ground alongside them. Successional planting is my excuse - desperate for peas is the real answer!

My sweet peas aren't doing too well either!  >:(

Broad beans are doing alright though! :)

My guttering experiment did nowt! My direct sown (a month later) are growing much faster - most are bigger than the gutter ones (all Early Onward)

So, phew! I don't have to bother doing that again  :D

I direct sowed my peas last year and out of a long row I got about 8 plants!!!

Decided this year I would give them a fighting chance at least  ;)
