I suspect one of my hens has got worms.

Her poo is very yellow and runny. Her Comb is floppy though red. She is eating probably her normal amount. But has stopped laying apart for a couple of soft ones. She hasn't been laying for very long (about 2 weeks).

I have started their first dose of Verm X this week. If this works how quickly should I expect it to take?

What are my other options?

Could I be wrong?

verm x will not work if your hens have worms it only claims to prevent them (and as pointed out on other posts there is no data to back any of this up) you need to buy Flubenvet and worm all your hens together two or three times a year

do I have to get that from a vet?

I can see that it is possible to buy on the internet but is this actually ok?

I get mine from my vets and it costs me £15 but some vets may charge more. It is fine buying it off the internet and I think there is a company called petmeds that sell it on line
