Leek Moth on Garlic.
« on: June 01, 2010, 16:08 »
Not content with ravaging my leeks later in the year, the first generation of the little critters has started attacking my garlic.  >:(
Anyone else have this problem?

If I cut off the affected area like you can with leeks, will the garlic grow away again?
Cheers, Comfortably Numb.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long ..........................

I suspect that the garlic will not develop if you cut off its method of growth i.e. the leaves.  But I don't know for sure.

P.S. The site policies ask people not to bump threads - if someone knows the answer they will answer.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
