Not sure how this works
« on: May 31, 2010, 22:17 »
Have been on here many times as a guest and found answers to many questions. I have a particular problem in that I went down to the garden today after some time away with a health problem and noted that young gooseberries have turned 'white' not leaves just the berries. A search of old posts showed a 50% mix of milk and water sprayed can be effective, this has now been done, any other tips or comments?
I am also looking to mak up some liquid feeds in barrells such as comfrey and animal manure any experiences to share?

Do your fruits look like this?

This is a good link to comfrey and all sorts of organic fertilizers;

Thanks for that information, yes the fruit looks exactly like that, we will remove some central growth now and see what yesterday's milk spray does.
The fertilizer article is most informative too....thanks.
