ASBO CHICKENS
« on: May 31, 2010, 18:35 »
As many of you know i got ducklings just over a week ago.Today some of my girls have taken humbrige and are sulking due to them being imprisioned in such cruel conditions ::) When i was handing out the wheat the chucks did not want to share and was chasing the ducklings off.I remembered what cara had said about making wheat bowls so the duck could get it and the chickens cant. As i threw the wheat i knew it wasnt going to work....the blummin chucks chased the ducks out of the water and dived in to eat the wheat

26 chickns free to a good home- will swap for well behaved ducks :tongue2:

Mine have the world record for shifting pea shingle out of the borders.
I think their ambition is to back heel it till it grinds down to sand. :)

It has been too quiet recently and i expect a major assault on the veg beds or similar.

The chickens have eaten them

to be honest i dont know.......you cant see all the runs, garden in that photo....they could be anywhere! In the afternoons, i move the ducks to the front of the house, on the secret grass that the chickens dont know about ;)
