*sigh* my big girls are eating the growers food...

The growers must be tastier - it is 2% higher in protein - because my big girls make a beeline for it first thing on a morning, rather than their own layers.

No change in egg production/quality yet (though if anything egg production is up - the past three days I've had a full house!).

Apart from penning them separately is there anything I can do to prevent/minimise this?  Though in 4 - 6 weeks it'll not be necessary (nomnomnom)

well the big girls have free access to a tub of oystershell, and have plenty of access to soil etc, so I'm hoping that that will be enough, at least for the next few weeks.  They do eat some layers (usually when they've finished off the growers  )

I think most of the feed in France is without ACS Aunty so her hens eggs will still be ok for eating
