I have several growing randomly on my plot left from the previous owners, I would like to make use of them before they are moved so how do I take cuttings? berries are forming now so I am assuming they are summer ones??

If they are suckers, then just dig them up and plant them where you want them to be.

Raspberries can be propagated from leafy cuttings, woody stem cuttings, root cuttings or of course the "no effort" way which is to let them send up new suckers all over your plot (usually happens after their first year, whether you want them to or not!)
