I have a box of museli in my cupboard that niether me or my ladie friend will eat ( it's nasty) it it ok to throw some down for the chucks?

Thanks what about from the fishing tackle shop I don't think there are many worms in my garden to find? sugar free no added salt worms ha ha sounds great !!
