Rhubarb (forced, then natural), salad leaves of assorted hues (excluding Spike Hughes), tail end of last years leeks that I found still chugging along behind one of the rhubarb beds, final Durham Early cabbage that never hearted - but haven't yet gone to seed.
The Dales - probably fingerprint marks where God's hand touched the world

So far just rhubarb, loads of pea shoots which I grow in pots on the window sills cos' me and the parrots love them and spring onions which I grow all year.
Radish aren't too far off and my salad leaves are coming along nicely, just need the tomatoes and cukes to hurry up now and I've almost got a full salad!!
Oh, I forget I've been nibbling away at my coriander too, which after years of having really poor germination is romping away and fast becoming triffid like!! :D

All sorts of salad like the other posts. Tonight the veg was Spinach (perpetual) and the pudding was Rhubarb.

Just radish so far. :(

Things seem to be growing a bit quicker now though so fingers crossed for something more exciting soon. :)

5 mint leaves,
around 20 oregano leaves
around 50 thyme leaves
and three pots of coriander (i use whole of them when they have 3 true leaves rather than  cut and come back)
 ::)
had a good cut of rhubarb a week ago and waiting for my OH to make crumble before they go crumbly  :). I think I should retart to having crumble in dreams

Rhubarb. Radishes, salad leaves, yummy red lettuce, rocket, sorrel, coriander.  Rhubarb.
Asparagus (first crop - yummy). Rhubarb. Spring cabbage. Did I say rhubarb?!
The less time you have, the more becomes available.

Yabba..male or female, I don't care..with that comment I'm officially in love with you.

As a Yankee in paradise exploring her first spring so far its been rhubarb (also delivered to two local inns), bok choy, spinich, parsley, coriander...and dreams.

After dealing with the dreaded snail invasion I'm not sure I'll ever have escargot again.

Think you have achieved quite a lot for a one-year-old Irene!

JayG:

Its been a productive spring here in Cumbria and I've hesitated to speak of my new potatoes simply because I know of the heartbreak many have experienced.

This is definitely a learning experience for me as I try to incorporate my experience from the States to the vast knowledge here.

Stumbling upon this site has been a HUGE positive. Not only in terms of ideas and information, but also in simply keeping my sense of humor about the entire adventure.

I'm not sure that the Brits are aware of how much they have to teach individuals in other countries about the joy of growing your own.
