Love the poem, Plum Crumble 

I haven't dared rootle yet (I don't furtle, I rootle) - but I only planted beginning of April so I won't have a rootle until we're into June... sooo tempting though 

I didn't put my earlies in untill the 10th April, Lady Chrystl, so I'll wait until the flowers have finished and the foliage starts to die back. I just hate shop bought spuds.
