Put my toms out
« on: May 16, 2010, 12:57 »
Well I have gone for it and put a fair few of the toms out, I have more of each.  They have been in the summerhouse for 3 weeks.  They are in a 2ft raised bed in a very sheltered spot.  I am  on the southcoast so I hope for the best, didn't want to repot, which these ones needed, when in a couple of weeks they would have gone out anyway, too many of them.

I may take some cuttings and put in pots as insurance. LOL

I think I shall have to bite the bullet soon.  It's a good idea to keep some in reserve though.  I only planted half my French beans yesterday, just in case.  It's been a funny season this year.

Mt runners have been out for 2 weeks they seem to have survived the frost we had and are starting to look much better than they did

I looked at the forecast earlier and from Tuesday onwards here the night time temperatures are double what they have been recently.

Got my french beans out and runners  :D was just in the green house thinking out putting some of the toms in to the post bags that we got from the pound shop. Might just go back out in the garden and do them now.
Thanks
Kris
