Found a batch of 28 small round green eggs on underside of a leaf.  is this the dreaded tomato moth?  I have taken a photo, but try as I might could not manage to post it.

If it is that flippin' moth, how many batches would she lay in one sitting, do I keep on looking?

There's nothing worse than finding those caterpillars munching on your toms................if you can find them cos they blend in so well.

Great picture - sorry I can't help with your questions.  I assume you destroyed the eggs.

Yes, I did get rid of them, I was only looking at the leaves as I remember my dad had grief from caterpillars on his toms, and as I've now taken over the greenhouse, and the neighbours expect me grow veg like me dad did, I've been on the lookout.  I thought it might also help others to know what they look like - if they are the moth eggs.

this is the colour of the eggs that were laid on my hubby's shirt when it was only the washing line a few weeks ago - they were very hard as well

I had exactly the same eggs in my utility room at the top of one wall. I missed the hatching stage so no idea what they were.

Be interested to know though.
