and I can wholly recommend butternut squash roasted with garlic and sage, and then turned into a souffle. A wonderful and simple starter at Christmas, dressed with a few leaves.

The main reason I got an allotment is to indulge my cookery passion and the joy of inexpensive but, crucially, the tastiest possible veg at your finger tips is amazing. It's still like being a kid in a sweetshop and may that feeling never fade!!!
