Mammy Hen is going broody - hissing and hogging the nest boxes like a massive feather duster. This is good, she sat tight and hatched some for me last year. But she is still laying an egg a day - what does this mean in terms of her sitting? I don't want to get my fertile eggs too soon! She is being moved to her broody house tomorrow.
