Ian's magic beans.

Ive just found a brown paper packet of runner beans with 24/12/06 written on it. They came from some runners i grew in 2006 (obviously) and I kept some for seeds. I am now taking bets on whether these beans will germinate or not? They look fine and have been kept dry and cool but 4 years old. Hmmmm? 

In that case I will sow some and see  Never grown anything from my own seeds before so will be interesting to see.

I remember my dad finding an ancient, shrivelled runner bean in the boot of an old Ford he bought (going back a few years!) and we were amazed when it grew!!!
