I found this little chap in the garden half an hour ago,  really pleased to see him.  :)

I picked up a very large green stone from under my caravan.Turned out to be a huge toad.I so wanted to bring him home but of course common sense prevailed and I did not. What a shock he would have been to the slugs around here.

I never realised they were so good at removing the slugs. I had a couple in the bottom of the garden but my dog terrorised them into going and I wish he hadn't now as the slugs are taking over and I've had to section off the veg plot so that the dog can't get anywhere near the slug pellets.

Went on holiday 3 years ago in france, stayed in a tent (posh camping, all set up for you!).  One day, in  hurry to get to where we were going I threw the kids in the car with their shoes and when we stopped at the loos before leaving the site I went to put no. 2 son's shoes on but couldn't get one on.  I was chowing at him to stop curling his toes up and to stop going all floppy on me when I got really cross and was about to say cross type things to him when out of his shoe hopped a large green frog!!.  Had to strip the seats out of the car to get it out!!  It was extremely funny and had the campsite talking for days!
