Agreed.  Since I've started GYO, i put them with almost every tea!  New potatoes, old potatoes, chilli con carne, egg mayo, fish etc etc.  I even buried a chive plant in a new bed over the winter, rememberd a few weeks later, dug up its remains and its now the best chive plant in the garden - incredibly prolific and hardy.

i've lways mix them in with the carrots to keep the carrot fly away.
