for the first time ever my parsnips were doing well, until two days ago

the missis told me that Sam had pulled a couple up, and did i want to try and put them back in? no i thought, if hes only pulled a couple from near the end of the row. (he thinks hes helping remove weeds, bless 'im)

so i went down yesterday - he hadnt pulled a couple. He had removed almost all of them from both rows

Bummer.  Judging by some of the posts on this site, then these may have been the only parsnips to germinate in the whole country!

I don't know if this will appear, as having trouble with getting cut off the internet today!  But quite a few of my parsnips hae germinated and apart from what the cat dug up, they look good, have had to put the fleece that was over them, around them instead, that seems to put the cat off.  fingers crossed, if they do okay I'll have 60 parsnips this year, only got 2 last year!!!!

Mine germinated too, I have only got 3 short rows due to lack of growing space. But they all seem to be doing well. :D
