Tomatoes in baskets
« on: May 06, 2010, 12:42 »
Is it too early to put some tumbling toms out in baskets. I have a couple of plants in pots in the greenhouse which are doing very well but they could do with going in a basket now as they are getting big - not really got anywhere to hang the baskets in the greenhouse.

Yes it is too early especially with the current climate of cold NE winds and very low night time temperatures. I am in the same position and would suggest you repot them on a temporary basis.
