how long will she be broody for?

one of my chooks has been broody for about a week. i have to keep getting her out the nest box. how long will this last? she seems to be stopping the others laying. ive found egss in the run. usually i get 6 or 7 a day. for the last week the most ive got is 3. very frustrating

it can last a few weeks, the best method of breaking a broody is to put her in a dog cage with just layers and water - no nest box. I didn't like to leave mine out all night although some do so used to put her in the coup to sleep and then get her in the cage the following morning. After 3 days mine got over her broodiness

I agree with joyfull.
Take the broody out and make sure she has plenty of food and water.
Make sure she is safe and warm enough at night.
The length of time a hen goes broody differs in each bird. Hens can go broody from 2 days to around 2 months!
