Rotovator theft
« on: May 04, 2010, 16:09 »
Hi All.

I bought my rotovator last November, had it knicked this April 11th pm/12th am.
It was my own fault, leaving it on the locked plot; just had another hour or so to do after work  :(
It was a blue/black 'Templar Tiller Professional 500'
Engine details =
model 130202 ; type 0576-01 ; code 78021307

If seen please PM me !

Really sorry to hear this, Praxxus  :(

No insurance either I expect... :(

I worry about my old Howard 200 sat sitting in my plot shed on its own. We've had it so long that thieves may well turn their nose up at it but it is worth its very heavy weight in gold to me... was may dad's too.

Here's hoping the police have success in tracing it.

Thanks for your concern - too cheap to bother with a claim (it was only £50) .
Police have tried thier usual suspects - no joy, surprise surprise.  ???

Same as me four year’s ago left it on the plot for two day’s I had a £25 lock on the shed. The low life came took the screws out of the hinges of the door and went off in to the sunset. The bad thing was my old man and mam got it for me for my birthday the big fifty I just could not tell them that it had been knicked there paid about £650. For it the old man is now in the garden in the sky it is a sad world we live in when the police get them and all there get is a yellow card or do not do it again Mr jame’s berry would have loved to meet the low life of to day £50 or 50p you work hard for it there will sell it for a few pound for a few pint’s best of look to get it >:( back

Such short sightedness to stop corporal punishment... nearest best thing to it is restorative justice where the criminal agrees to meet with the victim as part of their sentence / "rehabilitation".

I really must fit a new yale-style lock on my shed as the last time it was broken in to the little dears simply cut through the hasp with bolt cutters.

What alarmed me the other day was the cheap deal / special cut price in Lidls for bolt cutters - just what we need!
