covering peas and broad beans

When my peas and broad beans start to flower, should i drape fleece all over to stop the flies and things laying eggs? It would be a lot of fleece of course but if that is what it takes then so be it: last year many pea pods had maggots wriggling around inside when I opened them which was a sad sight indeed.

ah ok, so at which stage do I cover them if at all?

you neet them to polonate the flowers or else no peas!

peas are self fertile, so need no pollination to succeed, so you can cover your crop if you are worried about pea moth
