After all the rain last night I found this strange 'visitor' on my lottie - seems too big to be a field slug?   Can anybody identify this?

I think that is a Leopard slug , one of the good guys as it eats other slugs.

 Oh yes Limax Maximus. Still an anti-hero realy as it eats your crops as well.

He's an omnivore, so a goodie & a baddie all rolled into one gooey package.

Can you move him elsewhere though? With that camouflage, he's an accident waiting to happen..

One of these appeared in my garden last week.......I've never seen such a monster of a slug!  I didn't have the heart to kill it. Is it a new species to this country or have they always been lurking in the shrubbery
