twas a fine day ,so me and 2 of my 4 went allotmenting,the boys found a toad and were realy amazed by it.

Your soil looks great...black and crumbly. Mine's easy to work (sand) but dries to dust within an hour of turning it :(

right on the wilts,somerset,dorset border, the allotments are coutesy of the national trust free of charge!

Your soil looks great...black and crumbly. Mine's easy to work (sand) but dries to dust within an hour of turning it :(

the walled alotments were the kitchen garden for the big house (stourhead) for 300 years so the soil is realy good  i have grown 22lb cabbages on it!
