Another chilli question!

Hi all my chilli plants(hot wax and tabasco) are aound 10-15 inch tall and have a few buds forming i have read somewhere that if growth is weak i should pull these off and feed with a fertilizer what would you do the plants are very healthy!!I also potted them on two weeks ago from there 3" to 5" pots and the roots are starting to come through the bottom what size pot idealy would you put them in thanks
