Popped into Lidl on Saturday and they have quorn going for £1 a pack, which is a good price - my daughter is an addict, so i stocked up

I don't know - I deleted the email - there was loads on Satuday so I doubt they'd sell out! They'll keep it until they sell it. If they sell enough they might continue to stock it - which would save me having to go to a 3rd supermarket

It's a fungus..you know a mushroomy thingy that they process into cubes or mince or bits that look like chicken fillets

Bit that gets me is they make it look like meat and veggie`s buy it so if you want meat why not buy meat?

It doesn't taste like meat though
..........and it makes some people feel more comfortable eating veg food in company if no-one else knows they are!
It stops those awkward..........'o you're not a vegetarian are you tut tut' conversations
