I've read somewhere that the concentration rate is 1% but on my bucket it says 5% 
Also, do you add it indefinately, or  :unsure:do you worm say every 3 months like a dog? I know I can add it to bedding  etc (which I do), but how can it treat internal parasites if I'm applying it externally?

Hi from what i read and other peoples comments it isnt any good if your girls have worms.I think it can be more of a preventative measure i put some in my chicks food every so often once they go out side but then i worm them at 10 weeks with flubenvet which is much more effective so im told

Diatom is not as effective against worms or external parasites as the chemical measures and as such should be regarded as maintenance afterwards. The most effective is ivomec eprinex although it is not recommended by some vets. A couple of drops on the neck or in the water is enough. Otherwise use flubenet or aviverm annually and either diatom or apple cider vinegar as maintenance.
