I have an Anaemic Chicken who is recovering from a lice attack. She has been treated but is struggling to get back her strength. Does anyone have any tips for food supplements that could help her get back on track?

good quality layers feed, plenty of greens (iron is found in cabbage) possibly a tiny amount of brewers yeast spread on toast, and/or a good multi vit and mineral in their water.

thanks for the response and have introduced myself!

I have tried the greens and multi vitamins but will definitely try the toast idea. My worry is that she has been anaemic for a bit too long.
