Feeding Seedlings

What do people feed seedlings with? Mine have been planted 2 weeks in multi purpose compost so I am guessing they should be fed now and again?

I feed mine with some powdered stuff from Wilko (Wondergro I think it's called) diluted for seedlings as per the packet instructions.  It's also branded Miracle Gro or Phostregen. Don't go mad with it though as you'll end up with too much weak, sappy growth.

I use it diluted with warm water so as not to shock my tender seedlings  :D

As they are only tiny things, I would wait until potting-on time then put them into fresh compost which should see them through - you could feed them a week or so before planting too.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I've never fed seedlings, isn't there enough goodness in the seed compost to last till they're potted on? Growing too fast can't be good.

Seeding compost has little nutrient in it and is designed to get good germination and start the roots off.

Multi propose compost should have sufficient nutrients in it for several weeks. If you add more nutrients the seedlings may grow too fast and get weak, soft and leggy.
