... 2metres wide ...

I bought wider than that to allow for vertical sides.  2M would only give me just over a foot high on a 4' wide bed, so I bought the 3M wide which gives me just under 3' high sides.

It came from Tarpaflex Ltd, on eBay - £34.50 for 50M x 3M (in 2009) - they were very efficient, happy to recommend them

yep - I got it from them too on ebay last year - very happy with them
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

I bought mine from http://www.tarpaflex.co.uk/ too - excellent service - next day delivery and a good price. I've had mine for 3 years and its still going strong.

Get the 3m stuff though ! It will give you a 3ft rise and over a 4ft bed. (3'+4'+3'). I was thinking of getting some black 3m this year but my wallet said no.  :(

What fantastic useful advise you always get on here.  I bought some very expensive netting from a very expensive on line gardening web site last year but it has been a real nightmare.  ebay for me now, especially if it keeps them butterflies out, I would prefer my caulis not to look like a pepper pot  again.

Could you use it as a kind of 'fence' to keep out rabbits?? Just a thought instead of the wire rabbit netting....

I rather suspect that the wabbits would either bury underneath it or gnaw through it.  It's not as inflexible or robust as wire.

But I haven't actually tried it out so couldn't say for sure.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Some good news for me but bad news for my sister, her trampoline netting has ripped and my parents were going to bin it until i had the idea of using it as netting for my brassicas :D Saved me a lot ofmoney :)

I have raised beds so was thinking of just nailing/stapling it to boards. Was told on here in another thread that they'd rather dig than to jump, no-one has said yet 'knaw' through though...

Wabbits are also stupid and so if there are easy pickings elsewhere, it might be enough to put them off and send them to visit your neighbour's cabbages ?? ??? :D

Related question. I've often thought of using this netting to create a tunnel with water pipe to keep the flutterbys off but is there a post somewhere that describes a good way of stiffening the structure along its length?

I haven't found it necessary to stiffen along the length/ It collapses (in a sort of designed-in way!) under heavy snow load. Some pictures on my blog if you want to see how it looks "once erected"
