I just planted my home raised BB's yesterday and now I'm going to have to take them out again as I have just realised that I put some one year old manure under them as well as pelleted chicken manure. What was I thinking of. 
Oh well, at least the weather looks good for tomorrow.

BB's love manure.  What's the problem?

I thought  that the manure and the chicken pellets may scorch the roots.
Hmmm, I may just leave them in and keep a close eye on them.
