Some brilliant photos...thanks for sharing them!   When a few more of my gloriously short sunflowers are in bloom I'm hoping to add to the photos too.

I love your photo Zeb. Your short sunflower looks as if it is aspiring to be as tall as the competition height one

Not sure how high mine is.
To give an idea of height, my assistant is holding an eight foot (2.4 mtr) length of timber along side it.

when i planted my sunflower seeds the packet said they would grow 10 feet tall. but they are just about to flower and they are only 4 and a half feet

Read the small print.... I bet it says "given the right conditions" or "in the best growing environment" or "this is a general statement and cannot be guaranteed"
