The slugs got most of them and I managed to save 2 which only grew to about 5 ft tall

Sorry for the delay Jamie. Mine only grew to 5ft4 after it was blown over and then supported with a stake, and then it blew over again and slugs ate it!! I do have photos prior to its demise which I have been waiting to upload but haven't had time yet.

My tallest was 9'2 a couple of 8 footers, not bad for a first go hope to do better next year
