finally got round to measuring mine , there not looking at there best due to the wind and rain last week , the wifes sunflower beat mine by 7"  :(  to reach 12ft 2 . To put the pictures into scale the fence is 75".

We have measured our tallest Sunflower and it is an impressive 10ft 3".
We have never grown these before and literally put the small seedling in the ground and that was it.
What we didn't expect was the each sunflower to have loads of heads.
We have counted 23 heads on one stalk.
Is this unusual or do sunflowes normally grow this way.
