I've started my chillies inside and once I've hardened them off they will mainly be going outside. I'm going to keep a couple of plants on the kitchen windowsill but a couple will be going in a hanging basket - if it works it'll look brill. In the same way that Uncle Monty considers the cabbage infinitely more beautiful than the rose, I consider the chilli infinitely more beautiful than the fuschia
I think chili plants look stunning - really delicate leaves and lovely flowers. We had friends round the other night asking where we had "bought that flower from"
They couldnt believe it was going to produce beautiful edible (albeit hot!) chillies!
Bearing in mind my location, most of my 6 plants will be lopped to prevent growing too tall and remaining on my south facing kitchen window sill. Might try one or two in a plastic greenhouse.
