Hi all iv kindly been given some sarpo axona spuds off a very kind forum member im planning to put these into potato grow bags but how many would you place into the bags!!

Depends how big the bags are, Id use axpromitley 3

Advice I got from Iain (40ltr planters) "Just put 2/3 potatoes per potato planter otherwise you just get tiddlers." ... guessing he knows his stuff ;)

3 sounds about right,but you can pick the little ones first and leave the others to grow on.

Might try this potato bag thing - what sort of compost do you use, and what feed?

I use a mixture of ordinary soil and general compost, keep start with about 6 inches in the bag and keep topping it up as the green tops shows through.
As the great Percy Thrower used to say
" OI THINK THE ANSWER LIES IN THE SOIL"
