mine are sat on two dinner trays at the moment (in pots) quiet in the gallery, they go into the greenhouse (unheated) during the day and come indoors overnight.the bottom leaves seemed to start going white left out overnight.
i dont suffer with insanity..........i enjoy every minute of it.

I bought one of those £10 mini zip up plastic greenhouses and I have that inside my unheated greenhouse.  My tomatoes are in there now (they were originally on the windowsill) and they seem very healthy.  It has made things much easier having it as it means I have space indoors for more things!
Me too - it was from Guardman's on offer at my local garden centre and is quite strong in construction. The plastic cover is snug-fitting but reasonably thick and does the job. I also bought a fleece cover from Wilko that was said to fit that sort of size and it did - quality may differ from others 'cos it was only about £5. I have got both on at the moment and will zip them both up when we get the next frosts as I bought some tom plants this week andit also has bedding plants too.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I put some in the unheated greenhouse on the allotment last week and some are left on various windowsills at home. So far all plants seem to be thriving and despite a few chilly evenings this last week even the greenhouse ones haven't given up on life yet.

Mine have been out in the unheated greenhouse for a few weeks. They are standing on a layer of bubble wrap and I cover them with propogator lids and more bubble wrap at night time (taken off again in the morning). Chillies are out there too, all doing fine.
