Bedtime Question

Hi,
My 2 new silkies have been with me 2 nights now and I know its early days but they arent yet climing the steps to thier house ao I am having to catch them and put them to bed.
My question is simple, they are practically silent all day but when it gets to about 7.15 and the sun has gone down they seem to start getting noisey nothing crazy but just gentle rosey that seems to ramp up. Is this normal for bed time? should I just leave them or catch them and put them to bed?

They are probably saying in silkie language, oh no, it nearly time for bed!   

My chooks put themselves to bed at about 8pm at the moment, apart from the younger ones, who want to stay out til all hours!!!
