MOS couldn't agree more. I am more than happy with my Passata anyway  :)

If you remove all the tomato seeds before cooking them don't put them on the compost heap unless you are really into hoeing!  :nowink:

JayG My hubby tipped a bucket load of seeds down the drain & some in the Olive tree pots (which are large) we had tom seedlings growing in them for yonks, and I can't believe how they stood the winter. The snow finally killed them off! he won't be doing that again  ::)

I have been thinking about putting out some hanging bags with toms in the garden so i can move in at night if i have to, i will wait for a few weeks more tho i think they seen ok in the unheated green house (little blue but after reading another thread this morning they maybe cold).
