quick spud question!

Hi all im a newbie on this so take it easy,I have some pentland javelin spuds growing in bags on the patio i can see some green shoots that look like there forming leaves poking through the soil do i cover these over now or leave them!!

I cover them as they come through and it worked for me last year and im doing the same again this year, if your not going to get to the plot for a while you might want to cover with a biggish mound of soil.

Start to cover them a bit up as they grow through so that a frost doesn't kill the tops.
You can do this a few times until your pots are full up. If it's still frosty then you'll have to fleece them.
