growing grapes in a greenhouse
« on: April 04, 2010, 14:24 »
Are grapes decent/reliable for a greenhouse (unheated) and, if so, if I buy a plant for this year, am I likely to get fruit later this year or another year

thanks

Yes, they are reliable but they are likely to take two or three years to fruit.

To get a decent reliable crop they need pruning back to the leaders every year. A new vine won't crop for a couple of years, and will need training too.
