Coming to the end of laying life?
« on: April 02, 2010, 10:11 »
Just collected this mornings eggs and found one (i think from 1 of my ex batt's) is got a deformed shell, Blunt both ends, With 1 end wrinkled and flat on 1 side?
I've never seen an egg like it, Any ideas? Or just a happy retirement?

this is why the chicken farms get rid of these birds as the misshapen eggs don't look right in the boxes at the supermarkets (or so they think  :(). Don't worry she will continue to lay but just keep a close eye on her in-case she starts laying soft shells  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.
