Grapefruit shell?

i heard something to do with grapefruits that catches or kills slugs or something

any idea what i'm talking about? im not too sure if i have

I was told to put grapefruit skin halves upside down on the soil and the slugs would congregate under them. My slugs did not co operate.

Worked OK last summer for me, but needed to collect the slugs up very night

I reckon you need to educate the slugs first...so they know what they're supposed to do.

I didn't tell them...and they didn't co-operate
