On my new plot I've noticed garlic shooting up.It must be left over from last year as it is still whole.Can anyone tell me the best thing to do?just leave it or dig it up seperate the segments and replant it?

If it's still a whole head, then you'll get only a bunch of small single cloves again out of it. If you want more garlic, dig it up carefully, separate and replant with spacing and it will recover quickly.

but 100% worth the effort. It will recover quickly and should have some lovely garlic by end of July/Beg Aug.
