 Cabbages I say Cabbages :mad: sorry ill be more serious  Can i grow cabbages in containers like one plant to a plantpot  I only grow in containers which is easier for me to handle and manage Any advice gratefully recieved  :D

in a word yes you can , you may be better off with one that doesnt grow too large but as long as the pot has enough room and is fed and watered regular it will work , another thing is they like acidic soil so put some lime in the mix :)
when im with my 9yr old she's the sensible one

I grow all brassicas in pots. Eventually they are in 6" pots and I do this because of the clubroot problem on the allotment. The idea is to develop the root system to keep the plant growing. They are about third size. If I was to continue in pots they would each need at a 12" pot and then it would require daily watering . By their nature they are big leafy plants. I suspect you would spend more in pots and compost than what the plants are worth.
