Just about finished the hen house but and it's a big but, nest box inside or out? And what size and number. House is 4 x 4 x 4 ft. Thanks in advance for all the help.

I'm new to keeping hens but life is easier if you can access the nest boxes from outside.  I have 2 next boxes for 4 hens, but I think you can have more hens on 2 boxes.

Mine is on the outside.... easier to collect the eggs and doesnt take away any of the space inside the coop.... also hens cant perch on top of it and poo on the eggs!!!!
